The Knights of Columbus is a Catholic men's fraternal organization founded upon the guiding principles of Charity, Unity and Fraternity and with our Fourth Degree we add the principle of Patriotism.
St. Joseph Council 5604 of the Knights of Columbus was founded as the DeSoto Council 5604 on July 26th, 1964. This Council, as well as the Ss. Peter and Paul Council, has evolved from the DeSoto council into parish councils with emphasis on parish support.
St. Joseph Council members are involved in nearly every ministry associated with our parish or assisting them in any manner, whenever called upon to do so.
St. Joseph Council meets as follows in the parish's McLaughlin Hall:
Business Meeting: First Thursday of the month at 7:00pm
Men's Social: Second Thursday of the month at 7:00pm
General Social and Pot Luck Dinner: Third Thursday of the month September through May at 6:00pm. This meeting is open to all parishioners.
