Walking with Purpose

Walking with Purpose’s mission is to help every Catholic woman and girl in America to open her heart to Jesus Christ.

NEW this year just for Moms of school-aged children:

Moms, take a break!  Meet like-minded women to discuss your faith and family life in the 8-lesson Bible study, Ordering Your Priorities: Building a Life Well Lived.  Discover and prioritize what matters most in life.  When you’re feeling out of kilter, getting back to basics is a game changer.

Class meets Wednesdays from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm in the Small Meeting Room.  Meeting time runs concurrent with Middle-school Youth Group.  You do not need to have a child at St. Joseph’s school or the youth group to participate.  Class begins September 13, 2023, and runs through November 15, 2023.  Click here for calendar/syllabus.  If you can’t join us for the study, please drop in for the FREE Connect Coffee video talks and discussions (September 13, 2023 and November 15, 2023).

Participants use a Bible and workbook for weekly lessons and watch a 30 min video once a month.  To order your copy of Ordering Your Priorities, click here ($20).

Come back and join us for a FREE video series to be held on the third Wednesdays from January – April, 2024.  Topics will be selected by the Moms this fall.

Keeping in Balance study begins Tuesday, October 3, 2023

Are you interested in getting together with a group of women to explore your Catholic faith?  Would you like to see how the Scriptures apply to your everyday life?  The Walking with Purpose Bible Studies present an array of topics, such as prayer, trusting in God’s plan for our lives, our true source of fulfillment, the role of the Holy Spirit in the Church, loving one another better, and learning how to forgive, in a dynamic and relevant way.

The Bible Studies consist of three elements:

  • At-home study intended to encourage daily scripture reading.
  • Weekly small group discussions in a Parish setting, or virtually, facilitated by Walking with Purpose leadership team members.
  • Monthly Connect Coffees (free) for fellowship and to watch an inspiring video on a topic related to the study.

All women are welcome to attend the Connect Coffees or sit in on a weekly discussion group at any time.  We look forward to meeting you!

Keeping in Balance, a 22-lesson course explores Biblical ideas for managing life’s pace and pressure while living with calm and steadiness.  Come along on a journey throughout Scripture as we discover the relevance of Old and New Testament wisdom to our current daily challenges.  God wants to support and help us so that we can be our best in every season of our lives.  Your lifestyle of health and holiness awaits.  No prior Bible study experience is needed to join this class.  Click here for a calendar/syllabus:
