Prayer Shawl Ministry
Through the Prayer Shawl Ministry, members combine the healing power of prayer with the healing Ministry of human touch, enfolding each shawl recipient in genuine loving concern and envisioning each shawl as extending “hug” and bringing comfort and solace even when we’re not physically present. We gather once a month in the Parish Center where we pray and tenderly knit and crochet beautiful shawls & lap robes. These are given to those who are sick, lonely, bereaved to help them feel the warm, loving presence of Christ.
We welcome anyone who is interested in sharing your skills, or learning a new one to become a member of this caring Ministry.
